New reel

I just rendered and posted the final version of a new compilation reel of work. It’s been about two years since I put out my last one. I had been so busy between projects, work and a new addition to our family that arrived in late 2017, I decided to put the brakes on producing one last year.

Fortunately, I was able to make some time to pull content this past week and edit everything together. Mostly new and/or recent work is featured, with a small number of previous reel clips thrown in for overlap as usual.

I’m always posting new projects and work in progress shots on Instagram, so be sure to give me a follow. If you already follow me, you know I always have a camera in hand everywhere I go — especially with my girls. (In this case it was a drone), so they have a quick cameo in the reel as well. Don’t blink & enjoy!

2019 Texas Tech Baseball

I worked with Texas Tech on videoboard graphics and player animations for the 2019 baseball season. There was a quick turnaround but I was happy with the outcome. I created two versions for player graphics and interspersed branded logo assets with in-game elements.

Thank you 2018-19 collegiate partners

I worked with a number of schools and sponsors again this year. With the 2018-19 school year coming to an end in a few weeks, I’d like to thank everyone for their continued partnerships and interest in working together.

Creating new ways to bridge the fan experience and sponsorship for collegiate athletics is something I really enjoy doing. Finding the right mix from a design perspective that promotes a brand, and flows with game operations and in-game experience is a challenge I look forward to year after year.

Creating revenue streams for teams and helping them succeed are tasks I throughly enjoy. Whether you’re a longstanding partner or this past year was our first year working together, I truly value working with you and appreciate your desire for attention to detail and aesthetics for fan experience.

Thank you all again, and let’s make the 2019-2020 season even better!

The Roscoe

I recently created a basketball-themed concept for Torchy’s March Taco of the Month, The Roscoe. The taco is a fan favorite of the fast casual brand’s guests, so we wanted to do something with a big feel. I designed a chicken team mascot, and other graphics for social media that center around the five ingredients in the taco big the “starting five”.

To coincide with the campaign, we also created a taco bracket challenge that allowed fans on social media to vote for a winner that will be a taco of the month offering later this year. It’s the first time Torchy’s has ever offered fans a voice in the conversation of selecting menu item offerings.
